Health data stays on your iPhone
The app reads the Apple Health measurements you make available: activity, heart, sleep, workouts, and body measurements. It creates summaries and exports on your iPhone. Access is read-only; it never adds or changes Health records.
The app has no accounts, backend, advertising, analytics, tracking, AI API connection, or remote logging. It does not transmit Health measurements to Stegobyte.
Local storage and temporary files
Measurements and summaries are processed in memory. Your date-range, group, and format preferences are saved locally. Temporary export files are protected, excluded from backup, and cleaned up after sharing or on the next launch.
You choose when to share
When you use Share, the destination you select receives the export. Exports omit profile names, dates of birth, HealthKit source identifiers, and device identifiers. Measurements and timestamps can still be sensitive.
The destination’s privacy and retention rules apply. Copies saved in Files or another service remain until you manage them there. This app does not change Apple Health’s own sync settings.
Your choices
You choose dates, groups, and formats and can preview before sharing. You can change read access in Apple Health or iOS settings. Apple does not disclose denied individual read permissions to the app.
Removing the app removes its local preferences; it does not delete your Health records or copies you already shared. Stegobyte has no server-side Health records to retrieve or erase.
This website
This website does not request or receive your Health records. We do not add analytics scripts, advertising trackers, or cookies. Assets are served with the site rather than loaded from third-party font or image services.
The production website is hosted on Vercel. Serving and securing web requests involves technical information such as IP addresses, browser/request information, and timestamps. Vercel handles infrastructure information under its Privacy Notice. Website hosting is separate from the app’s local Health processing.
Support email
If you email us, we receive your address and whatever you choose to include. The support mailbox uses Gmail, and email providers process delivery and storage. We use your message to respond and investigate the issue. Please send reproduction steps instead of Health exports.
Messages may remain in the support mailbox while needed for follow-up and issue history. Contact us to request deletion of support correspondence; provider backups and required records may follow separate retention rules.
