Your account
Ingrede uses Supabase for authentication and database storage. Your email, account identifier, profile and scan-usage records support sign-in, access control and scan limits. Password authentication is handled by Supabase. The app stores your session locally so you can remain signed in.
Label photos and AI analysis
When you tap Analyze, the selected photo is uploaded to our API, processed and forwarded to the configured AI provider. The current default provider is OpenAI; testing configurations can use xAI. The image and language instructions are used to produce recognized label text, a summary, ingredient explanations and limitations.
This is online processing, not on-device-only analysis. Submit product labels, not medical records or personal documents. Include only what is needed to read the ingredient list.
Storage and retention
The app API processes uploaded photos in memory rather than saving an image library. Analysis results and scan-attempt records are retained in the database to track usage and handle repeated requests. The current implementation does not set an automatic expiry for those retained results.
The most recent result is held in app memory. Language, appearance and onboarding preferences are stored on your device. Infrastructure and AI providers may separately retain technical records under their service terms and configuration; deleting an account does not instantly erase provider logs or backups.
Service providers
See the privacy information from Supabase, OpenAI and, where used, xAI. These services may process information outside your country. Production infrastructure and retention arrangements will be reviewed before public app release.
Your choices and deletion
You choose which photo to submit and can manage camera access in your device settings. You can delete your account in Ingrede Settings by entering your password and confirming. Deletion removes the account, profile, scan usage and retained analysis records from the active app database. Removing the app alone does not delete your account.
For access, correction or deletion requests, email samson.azizyan@gmail.com. We may need to verify account ownership. Copies you have separately saved or shared are outside the app’s deletion process.
This website and support
This website does not receive your label photos or connect to your Ingrede account. We do not add analytics scripts, advertising trackers or cookies. The website uses Vercel hosting, which processes technical request information under its Privacy Notice.
Support email is handled through Gmail. We receive your address and whatever you include, and use it to respond and investigate issues. Messages may remain for follow-up and issue history. Contact us to request deletion of correspondence; provider backups may follow separate retention rules. Please do not email passwords or sensitive documents.
